Republican Atheists’ Board Member Dr. Robert M. Price will be speaking at a forum titled “Church, State and the Republican Party” at the North Carolina Republican Headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina on February 20, 2018 at 6pm.
The forum is hosted by a group known as TURN – Triangle Urban Republican Network. TURN is a group for thinking Republicans, moderates, Libertarian leaners, independents, and anyone else who who wants reasonable discussion of Republican politics.
According to TURN, “The separation of church and state defines many different ways people look at the size and scope of the government. Republicans (like any other group) have a diversity of opinions on this topic, but it is rarely discussed. We aim to explore these contrasts between opinions as well as have a meaningful discussion on the role of religion in the government.”
Join for a forum exploring the separation of church and state from different viewpoints in the Republican Party. We will be featuring two speakers, Dr. Robert M. Price and Rev. Mark Creech. Both will answer questions from the moderator as well as participate in a Q&A.
