Wrap up of Lincoln Day Dinner in Kent County Maryland
Republican Atheists’ Board Member and Maryland Correspondent, Shawn Poulson, attended the Kent County Lincoln Day Dinner that was held in Chestertown, Maryland on October 14, 2021.
Poulson serves as vice chair for Kent County Republican Central Committee where he discusses and votes on state and local level Republican initiatives.
The featured speaker of the event was Kimberly Klacik, a Republican who gained national recognition when she ran in the 2020 elections for Maryland’s 7th Congressional District. Poulson gave thanks to Klacik’s support which contributed to a sold out venue and record revenue raised.
The featured photo from the Lincoln Day Dinner shows Kimberly Klacik (left), Gordana Schifanelli (center) and Shawn Poulson (right).
Schifanelli is noted for challenging a racist school superintendent in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland who promoted controversial race-oriented subjects such as critical race theory and Black Lives Matter. The superintendent eventually stepped down from her position. Schifanelli is currently running for Lt. Governor in the 2022 election.
Thank you for sharing Shawn! We look forward to hearing more from you.
