Introducing new Board Member Roy Latham
Republican Atheists’ California Correspondent and West Regional Manager, Roy Latham, has stepped up to be a Board Member after Dr. Robert Price recently stepped down from his position.
Roy is currently based outside of Sacramento, California. Here is a brief introduction from him.

On a personal note, I met Roy and his wife in person a couple years ago while traveling through northern California. I found Roy to be a courteous and insightful person who communicates well, provides feedback and is particular to detail. I thought he was a great candidate for a Board Member.
Finally, I thank Dr. Robert Price for his time serving on the board since the organization first launched in early 2017. He was the first, and pretty much only, outspoken atheist commentator to take interest in Republican Atheists at that time, and was more than willing to be a Board Member. His insight and feedback helped shape the organization.
Republican Atheists has a total of five board members:
- Lauren Ell – Hemet, California and Sweden
- Scott Root – Phoenix, Arizona
- Shawn Poulson – Kent County, Maryland
- Darrel Scott – Temple, Texas
- Roy Latham – Sacramento, California
