Republican Atheists is seeking atheist Republican elected officials
Within the next few weeks Republican Atheists plans to publish a list of atheist Republicans who are elected officials in Republican groups and/or their cities/counties. This can be ANY position, even a ground level position on a local or international Republican group, or in city government. Positions on public works groups like school board or water board also qualify. We are ultimately looking for atheist Republicans who have simply been elected to a position.
Our reason for publishing this list is to showcase that atheist Republicans are politically active. More often than not, atheist organizations and bloggers only publish content about religious Republicans, yet seem to never feature atheist Republicans. We hope this list will spark more conversation about atheist Republicans actively serving the public and being politically involved.
