Republican Atheists’ Facebook page is live again
Republican Atheists’ Facebook page is back!
The page went live again on January 30, 2020, after being offline for ten days due to Facebook unpublishing it on the basis that recent content had violated Facebook’s page policies.
The page was abruptly unpublished by Facebook on January 20, 2020, with no warning or specific reason given. Republican Atheists’ President, Lauren Ell, appealed the decision on the same day the page was unpublished, but was not told when she would receive a response back.
The page suddenly went live without any notification or explanation being sent to Ell. There is no understanding of what exactly the problem was with the page.
It is recommended to register for Republican Atheists’ email updates to stay connected to the organization since social media is unreliable. At least the page is back up for now!
