Republican Atheists’ President met with the Chair of the Republican Party of San Diego County
Republican Atheists’ President Lauren Ell met with Tony Krvaric, the Chairman of the Republican Party of San Diego County, while passing through San Diego.
Ell reached out to the Republican Party of San Diego County to connect, and Tony Krvaric responded that he would be happy to chat over a cup of coffee.
Krvaric noted he immigrated to the United States from Sweden in 1993 mostly in part because he was inspired by Ronald Reagan, and later obtained citizenship in 2003. He started volunteering with San Diego Republican groups and moved his way up to becoming the Chairman of the county group, a position he has held for over a decade.
He noted that the Republican Party should embrace people who hold high regard to the United States, and is glad to see atheists showing more vocal support.
Krvaric is the most high up Republican representative Ell has met. He pointed out that San Diego County is the 8th largest county in the United States. Thank you Tony for the meeting!
