A Threat to Democracy: Unmasking America’s Voter Engagement Organizations

This is the initial release of A Threat to Democracy: Unmasking America’s Voter Engagement Organizations, a groundbreaking evolving research document launched by Republican Atheists’ President Lauren Ell.

In a time when election security is a critical topic, Americans should be aware of voter engagement and voter registration efforts in their communities and how their information is being handled when registering to vote through third party services.

The document focuses on prominent voter engagement organizations in the United States that encourage Americans to vote, offer voter registration services and promote election policies that many would argue increases chances of election fraud.

During the last few decades increasing numbers of voter engagement organizations have propped up, often under the guise of being non-partisan and non-discriminatory towards Americans. Noted organizations include Rock the Vote, Vote.org, Nonprofit Vote, Headcount, I am a Voter, Students Learn Students Vote and Campus Vote Project.

These organizations network predominantly within progressive circles, pander to certain demographics of American society and offer third party voter registration services that harvest contact information for their subscription lists.

A Threat to Democracy: Unmasking America’s Voter Engagement Organizations consolidates information about prominent voter engagement organizations, how they are interconnected and how they are discriminating against Americans.

The document is an open-source document that is available to the public to view for free at this link:
