Announcing friendship with secular conservative Heather Mac Donald
If you regularly follow conservative-oriented talk shows, there’s a good chance that you have heard of, or at least seen, secular conservative published author and speaker, Heather Mac Donald.
Republican Atheists’ President Lauren Ell first became aware of Heather Mac Donald when students associated with Black Lives Matter prevented interested listeners from attending her speech at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA, on April 7, 2017. Mac Donald was forced to cancel her speech and had to instead livestream it. The college ended up punishing seven students for interfering with the speech.
Since then, Mac Donald has become a national sensation for free speech advocates, and has gone on to being widely interviewed about the many subjects she studies. On top of that, Mac Donald identifies as secular conservative.
Ell reached out to Mac Donald to see if she would like to be a friend of Republican Atheists. We are proud to announce that Heather Mac Donald has agreed to be a friend of the organization!
Here is a brief description of Mac Donald..
Heather Mac Donald is a fellow at Manhattan Institute, a contributing editor of City Journal, and a New York Times bestselling author. She is a recipient of the 2005 Bradley Prize. Finally, Mac Donald has appeared on a wide variety political talk shows, such as Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Rubin Report, PBS Newshour, Fox Business, Uncommon Knowledge with Peter Robinson (Hoover Institution), and many more.
Heather Mac Donald featured on Tucker Carlson Tonight Show on June 6, 2019, to discuss the controversy over new racial diversity programs launched by a New York City public schools chancellor.
