Opinion piece: A message to the GOP candidates and America First Patriots

One of the things I have been noticing from both sides but especially the right is “battle fatigue”.
It has been a rough past five to seven years in America for the right. They have been canceled, physically attacked, demeaned in the media, and had their means of fundraising limited.
They are definitely the underdogs fitting an oppressive empire of lies built by the left.
It would be easy to compromise at this point and allow the ground that has been lost to be given up. If just to have some peace for a while, but this cannot happen. We are losing this country to sickness, and evil a malaise that did not enter in one day. It needs to be ripped out of the body and that will be painful to the host. We need to regain ground and shift the momentum away from the leftward spiral.
The new wave of GOP needs to understand they are not just fighting the far left that has infected the DNC, they are fighting the complacent left and cowardly right. They will be fighting Lincoln Project traitors who stabbed them in the back and seem to be just controlled opposition for the far left. Any republican that appears on TV and apologized for conservatives need to be shunned. They need to be called out.
On the flip side, allies are to be gained from the left. An example is Tulsi Gabbard. She does not share the policy positions the GOP would like, but she has been brave enough to call out the insanity in her own party. We need to be aware that there are those in the DNC who are fearful, lost and just going along to get along. Showing them support, showing them there is a way out is how we stop the far left swing infecting the USA.
It is a pitched and unfair battle the GOP must fight with the media so entrenched in the far left, but there are means to get the message out. See them. There are liberal activists who are in agreement with many of the right’s concerns. Glen Greenwald, Joe Rogan, Tim Pool, to name a few. These people are of the left but know that things are wrong and the country is headed in the wrong direction. They are calling out the lies of the mainstream media and seem to be having success reaching those on their side who, at the very least, moderate and reject the far left.
There are also many unsuspecting allies that the main GOP must embrace if they hope to restore America. I personally belong to the groups Republican Atheists and also Atheists for Liberty. These groups either outright support or defend GOP principles and policies such as free markets, first and second amendment rights, and America First policy. It has been unfortunate that they have often been rejected due to their status as Atheists by the party and the America First movement. This is a mistake. Theists need to understand they are better to ally with an America First Atheist than a “Woke” Christian. This opens the tent of the America First movement to more support. These groups are not the anti-theist atheists of the far left. They support “freedom of religion” as guaranteed in the Constitution. They are not Atheists who would have freedom FROM religion.
Last, I would say that losses often create infighting. Egos also create this. This cannot be allowed. The far left will eat us over this. We are all individuals who may find the style or personality or rhetoric of one of our own distasteful. Do not let this distract you from who is against us and what our mission is. Elections can be contentious, but we cannot let the perfect be the enemy of the good. An example of this is the Trump/DeSantis competition. Do not let differences on who we think should lead arise now. That decision is two years off. Even still, we will need to support whoever becomes that leader. The battle is bigger than that.
Stay cool, stay unafraid and be ready to rock the boat and shake off the far left and RINO right. It is the only way to save the country.
