Republican Atheists has correspondents in 11 states

Republican Atheists is excited to have correspondents representing in 11 states. There are currently 12 correspondents total.

The states represented are Arizona, Forida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Washington, and West Virginia.

This is the first time Republican Atheists is working with correspondents. The main requirements to be a correspondent are to identify as atheist and be a registered Republican. Currently the positions are completely voluntary and depend on the individual’s goals. We’ll see where this project goes!

The core role of the correspondent is to simply showcase that Republican Atheists has connections across the United States. The lowest level of involvement can entail simply answering inquiries that come in through email, or can become more involved by extending to hosting actual meetings and doing outreach.

Republican Atheists takes its reputation seriously. If a correspondent mistreats others, or shows signs of racism and other polarizing views, Republican Atheists will cut ties with the individual. We want to present the organization as being serious, courteous and willing to hear others out.
