Republican Atheists represent your state

Republican Atheists is seeking correspondents from each state

Republican Atheists is seeking correspondents in each state to expand representation of the organization in the United States.

Level of involvement can be strictly online or can extend to public engagements, depending on your choice. This is a completely voluntary position.

General requirements are to be registered Republican and identify as atheist.

Republican Atheists is excited to continue developing connections across the United States. We are diligently building a platform for atheists who are registered Republicans. Consistent criticism we receive is that we are a “small group.” Let’s show the public that we have representation across the country, and even abroad!

I am a registered Republican and I am an atheist. I absolutely abhor that the Republican party touts itself as being the Religious Right … Talk about being marginalized; by your own political party. So, it pleases me very much when I see such groups as this for atheists who are Republicans because, while I support everyone’s Constitutional right to have a religion, I totally support Separation of Church and State; more secular is better!

If you want to put a dot on Florida, count me in. I’ve been a member of the GOP since 2004 and have been an atheist for about 10 years. I have a schedule that doesn’t allow for much spare time but am happy to help any way I can.

I am a republican in Connecticut. Yes, we exist! And I have been a registered republican since 1980 when I was first able to vote and could not bring myself to vote to re-elect Jimmy Carter. And I have been an atheist probably at least since around the time of my Bar Mitzvah – 46 years ago! I have been saddened to see our party dominated so heavily by the religious right. They don’t speak for me, and I detest their determined efforts to undermine the secular nature of our republic.
