The Urban Conservative

Tune into The Urban Conservative’s interview with Republican Atheists

Republican Atheists’ President Lauren Ell was interviewed by Raheem Soto on The Urban Conservative podcast on June 18, 2020, to discuss the organization and how to increase voter turnout.

The interview lasted nearly an hour and was broadcasted via Facebook and Youtube with a live audience. Tune into the interview here:

Raheem Soto made the point that the Republican party should be more open minded to atheists because it is critical to increase voter turnout and obtain votes. He asked Ell about her experience of being an atheist Republican and how she thinks voter turnout can be improved. Ell pointed out that multiple reports have shown younger generations in the United States value religion less than previous generations, and that the Republican party should give this trend more serious thought for future voter outreach strategy.

The Urban Conservative is hosted by Addul Ali and Raheem “Rkitech” Soto, twin brothers who focus on community development, education and preserving conservative core values learned in an urban environment. Both serve as elected Republican committeemen, one in Suffolk County, New York, and the other in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Addul is an Army veteran and small business owner, and Raheem is a certified multi-platinum record producer and audio engineer.

We thank Raheem for reaching out to feature Republican Atheists on his show.
