Missouri Correspondent volunteered with GOP phone bank
Republican Atheists’ Missouri Correspondent, Max DeVill, recently volunteered in a phone bank session hosted by Missouri GOP and Missouri Young Republicans.
This was DeVill’s first time volunteering with the GOP. How he came to be involved was simply by contacting his county Republican group and asked to be plugged in as a volunteer. The group got in touch with him after a few days and provided him a couple volunteer opportunities he could partake in.
The phone bank session was completed at his home through his computer and lasted two hours. He spoke with many people and encouraged them to vote for Republican candidates.
DeVill came in contact with county representatives and clued them in about the existence of Republican Atheists and mentioned the organization is happy to encourage our members to volunteer with the GOP. They welcomed the idea of the organization and said they think the Republican party should shift away from theistic policy and move more towards rights-based, secular policy.
